Dr. Scholten chose a career in obstetrics and gynecology because it allows her to care for her patients as a whole. Whether she’s with her patients in the office, the operating room or during labor and delivery, she considers it an honor to share those moments with them.Dr. Scholten has a special interests in caring for women during the prenatal period and treating women with substance use disorder during pregnancy. She also has an interest in minimally-invasive surgery, including robotic surgery.When she is not working, Dr. Scholten enjoys spending time with her husband and dog. She likes hiking, doing yoga, and being outdoors and on the water.I believe every patient deserves their own unique approach to their care, as no two women are the same. I strive to make every woman feel comfortable during their visit and empowered within their life. I will work together with each of my patients to provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based medical and surgical care.
