I parked in Farmer's Alley downtown Kalamazoo at 9:55a.m. and was given a ticket that indicated they chalked my tire at 8:49a..m. the ticket was written at 10:41. I was livid seeing how I was at home at 8:49am and there was no way they chalked my car! I immediately lodged a written complaint. The enforcement manager was out of the office but I called him upon his return. He was unprofessional in the way he spoke to me. He said "I told you 3 times how we mark the time, do you want me to tell you again" He refused to give me his name as I suggested I wanted to speak to his superior! Voiding the ticket is not enough! I want to know what system they have that would say my car was chalked an hour before I arrived downtown. He did admit that their system is flawed regarding when they mark the tire. He said maybe my car was confused with someone else's, he had several reasons why this could have happened, none of them valid
