Founded in 2001, Innovations Public Charter School serves more than 150 students in grades one through eight. Its academic curriculum includes art, history, language arts and science. The school operates an interest club that offers opportunities for students to learn kite making, puppetry, drama, ukulele, dog training, yoga, cooking, dance, sports and scrapbooking. Innovations Public Charter School also operates art, dance, cooking and kite clubs. In addition, it provides a variety of lunch menu options, including mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, apple wedges, salads, sandwiches and milk. The school also provides performing arts and drama programs. Innovations Public Charter School is located in Kailua Kona, Hawaii.
