Established in 1954, Kainalu Elementary School is an educational institution located in Kailua, Hawaii. It enrolls more than 550 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school conducts classes in various subjects, such as English, math, science and social studies. It conducts basic learning sessions in computer applications, music, and arts and crafts. Kainalu Elementary School employs a staff of over 40 teachers and paraprofessionals, including curriculum coordinators, special education instructors and counselors. It also organizes field trips and picture days and offers an online snapshot gallery of its various facilities. In addition, the school has a parent-teacher association that supports various campus events and fundraising activities.
