      Dr. Bessinger is board-certified in Dermatology. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and his MD, PhD, and Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from Tulane University. He served in the US Army where he did his dermatology residency and was previously chief of dermatology at Tripler Army Medical Center. He has served as President of the Hawaii Dermatologcal Society and has been named one of Honolulu Magazines Best Doctors in Hawaii for several years. Doctor Bessingers professional and research interests include laser and skin cancer surgery.
