I would not suggest renting an apartment here. Yes, the place looks nice at a glance and everyone seems very friendly. Key words: "Glance" and "seems". Yes, it is decent for those in dire need of an apartment. But if you look closely at the foundation of the entire place, it was cheaply built and prices jacked up to build more. My husband attempted to wipe something off the wall and all the white came off exposing what appeared to look like cardboard. The main reason I suggest not renting here is the fact that I ALWAYS double check everything and thoroughly clean a place once I move. They are now charging us for things that are ridiculous! I can understand some of the charges IF IT WERE CHARGED IN THE CORRECT ROOM! And we never owned a pet, and they are charging us for finding fleas in our apartment, when there is clearly animals living across and underneath us! The managers can seem nice if you catch them on a good day.

If you plan on taking the advice below about visiting here first make sure you really stick around for a while, because we visited first and thought they were nice, however once we moved in and people moved in on both sides of us you can defintley tell how poorly these are built, I have lived in apartments before and never had been able to hear my neighbor's cell phone ringing or my neighbor using the bathroom. Its a little too personal for me its almost as if they are my roommates you hear every intimate detail if you know what I mean. Also the cabinets are always falling off the hinges and the sliding closet doors come off easily it actually almost hit my child in the head so be careful! One more thing this is not a kid friendly place at all, we moved in a year ago and they were suppose to put in a playground well it still isnt one here so if they tell you they are going to build one please don't hold your breath. Oh and some of the walls are just primer not paint.

my husband and i just recently moved in and i love it here its nice and quiet every now and then you hear your neighbors but that could happen anywhere you go but the apartments are nice and cozy and i wouldnt go anywhere else

my husband and i live here with our 2 little ones..i agree that the appartments arent up to par but we like it..its a great first home for our family. SOme people r just too picky. it was an easy move in and i thought the mangement was very nice! b4 u make a decision based on the reviews on this page, please consider visiting and make your own assumption! hope to see you soon!

this place is terrible! i would check around before coming here, the management is rude, and the apartments are built poorly.

ok first of all you live in an apartment there are going to be things wrong where ever you decide to leave. i love it here and i have had no prob. if you want a place where everything is like yall want it go get a house. this place is nice and i enjoy living here

My husband and I are currently living in this complex with our 2 little ones. We hate it here!! The heaters are horrible to even get any bedroom warm or cooled off you have to have the kitchen, living room and bathroom vents closed, (we where told that that's how you have to do it my management) the walls are not children/soldier friendly they aren't even painted just primed leaving it impossible to clean. The drywall that was used for the walls are the cheapest drywall we have ever seen, leaving everyone in the building to listen to your conversations or your anything that makes noise. The plumbing is horrible, you cant put anything into the toilet except toilet paper, they even want women to throw there sanitary napkins and tampons into there own trash bags and then into the dumpsters that are always over flowing with trash. There is more things that are wrong with this place but I don't have the time to tell everything, over all this is not the best place to get an apartment.

SLUM!!! Very poor construction. It looks nothing like the photoshopped pictures they have online. Whenever we have snow fall they make a single pass with a plow and push al the snow up against the back of the cars and refuse to even loan you a shovel to dig yourself out. some parking spots have been unusable for weeks. Which is a very big problem because parking is very limited as it is. If you not home early your looking at a 200ft trudge threw the snow. The freeway noise is overpowering. There is no park fo kids to play in the brochure, There is no trees, there is A pool...Its slightly bigger than the kiddy pool you buy at wal-mart and its for the ENTIRE apartment complex which is immense.The wall are so thin i can carry on a conversation with my neighbors threw the wall. PLEASE save yourself the heart ache. The person who gave this 5 stars is prob the apartment management. Oh There has been 2 suicides in the past 2 months guess which apartments?? cause they wont tell you.

Give me a break! All apartments in this area have similar rents, trust me I shopped before choosing to live here! Once you get into the mind set that you are renting not owning, it's a wonderful place to live.... Save us all the trouble and move out, not burn it down! Geary Estates is a great place for the military and our families to live! The staff has been very helpful, understanding and proactive in all encounters with them!

Worst apartment i have ever lived in!! Constant sewage problems (we cant use our tap water). Poor construction every where you turn. These apartments are overpriced because of the location being so close to fort Riley. Just another crook trying to swindle the hardworking soldier. If you stop buy do us a favor and burn it down so we can get out of our lease!
