North Middle School has an annual enrollment of more than 450 students in grades six through eight. The school s facilities include football, baseball and soccer fields and outdoor basketball courts. It offers a variety of extracurricular activities, such as band, orchestra, student council, vocal music, reading club, drama, yearbook and open art. The school has a parent-teacher organization that provides financial support by organizing various fundraising events for special field trips, student assembly, classroom materials and vocal music programs. Its core curriculum includes math, science, social studies, computer applications, art, and health and physical education. North Middle School is a part of the Joplin School District and is located in Joplin, Mo.
