Located in Joplin, Mo., Joplin High School offers classes from grades through nine through 12. Joplin High School is accredited by the North Central Association of Schools and Colleges and Missouri State Department of Education. It is operated by the Joplin School District. Its curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, fine arts, practical art and personal finance, Spanish, journalism, physical and health education. Its advanced placement courses include literature and composition, calculus, theory of music, United States history, Spanish and French language, biology and physics. Its sports activities include baseball, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, golf, softball, volleyball, swimming, track, cross country, wrestling, dance and cheer. It has various clubs and organization, such as student council, debate, the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America and drama and math clubs.
