You HAVE to get your passport and Hazmat on your CDL within three months or they will FIND a way to GET RID OF YOU without legal hassles. Also, you HAVE TO get 7 miles per gallon for fuel mileage on your company truck or they will FIND A WAY to GET RID OF YOU within 6 months. E-logs, routing, they will route you for fuel and charge you for out-of route. BEST orientation package in the trucking industry! I would hire on just for the orientatio package. Every Wednesday. Get free coupons for booze (??) at the Holiday Inn (5 star!!California King bed...) while you are going through orientation. Free cabs anywhere in the city of Joplin after 5 pm. Everyone in my orientation went to the casino to gamble every night. Great safety rating with DOT. LOTS of light loads while I worked there. I NEVER got pulled in even in California for inspections. No hassle. You CANNOT run 65 and get 7 mph in their truck. YOU have to set it at 55 or 62, if you are lucky. I couldn't get 7 mpg.
