General Info
Welcome to Midnight Magdalena Vineyards where we are “Raising Authentic Wines.” We are a family owned and operated vineyard located on over 50 acres in the Swan Creek AVA. The long days of sunshine and unique micro-climate of our vineyard provide an excellent setting to produce the quality grapes for our authentic wines. In April 2013, we planted our first vineyard blocks of Merlot, Riesling, Traminette and Corot Noir (the first vines planted in North Carolina) on about 6 acres. We had our first harvest in 2015, producing about 670 cases of wine. Our focus is on dry wines, and current offerings include a Dry Riesling, Traminette, 2 dry rose' wines, Merlot, and our Corot Noir. Our Tasting House opened in October 2016, and in April 2018 we planted another two varietals in the field in front of the Tasting House - Tempranillo and Moschofilero. Wines from these new vines should be available in 2021.Welcome to Midnight Magdalena Vineyards where we are “Raising Authentic Wines.” We are a family owned and operated vineyard located on over 50 acres in the Swan Creek AVA.
