Brown Elementary School, established in 1975 is a school for early education offering education to students in grades kindergarten to five. It is a part of the Clayton County School System and has an enrollment of more than 800 students. At the kindergarten level, it provides interactive programs focusing on the development of math skills and reading. It offers courses in science, social studies, math, reading, English, writing and health. Its additional programs include sports and extracurricular activities. Additionally, it offers courses in art, music, and physical education. The school is located in Jonesboro, Ga., and also offers library, media centers and guidance services.
