  A long time Jonesboro resident, Dr. Walter W. Hayes, graduated from Westside High School. His undergraduate degree in Zoology is from Arkansas State University. He later obtained his Doctoral degree in Podiatry from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida. After Podiatric Medical School, he completed a two year Podiatric Medical and Surgical Residency at Doctors Hospital in New Boston, Texas. He returned to Jonesboro in 2003 to open his solo practice. Our first location was on Southwest Drive through NEA Foot Clinic. As the practice grew, we needed to move to the current Windover address in 2007. This also allowed for a more appropriate name change, Family Foot & Ankle Center.
