I have never been so disappointed and left with the feeling of being deceived to this extent in my life. I was verbally told when making a fairly new but used vehicle purchase that I had to sign an "AS IS" contract, but trusted them when I said that worried me and they responded they stand behind their product. My vehicle would not even pass an emissions test one week after driving it off their lot! When I went back to complain I was told I signed an AS IS document and they didn't know who would have told me that they stand behind their product. They also gave me a price on "fixing" the vehicle I practically just drove out of their lot for double what the mechanic three doors down gave me a quote for! I wish this rating had a zero star rating. :(

We visited Thomas Motors Nissan dealership on Larkin Ave in Joliet and ended up walking out because of the extremely high pressure sales tactics. Not only did they go through all the usual "have to consult with the manager" tactics, and refusing to give us a price until we made an offer, but two separate higher up sales staff (our guy was only on the job a week ) came out to try to negotiate with us. The second fellow began to berate the salesman in front of us, telling him he had "already blown the deal." I told him I thought it was unprofessional to chew this guy out in front of customers and he totally ignored us. I said, "This is embarrassing for us and humiliating for him. We're DONE." and walked out. High pressure sales is just way too stressful to endure. We went to D'Arcy Motors on Jefferson and bought a car that same night. We've purchased from Thomas before but never again after that awful experience.
