St. Vincent DePaul Society support local charity services to the poor in our community through our thrift stores in the Chicago, IL area. By shopping with us, you can get a great deal and help the people in your community. We always have a large section of gently used items and the inventory is always changing, so make sure that you shop often. If you have items that you would like to donate, call us. We offer free home pickup. We also accept donations of vehicles. Tax receipts are gladly given for all donations. Items frequently found in our stores and accepted as donations include: • Furniture • Clothing • Winter coats • Bedding • Housewares If you are in need of assistance, we are here to help. All financial assistance is handled through the local churches. Material goods such as clothing, coats, shoes, bedding, furniture, vehicles, etc. are taken care of through our basic needs request forms which are available throughout the county for those in need.
