Will County Health Department operates health centers and medical clinics that provide health care services and medical assistance to patients. It offers diagnosis and treatment for cancer, heart diseases, brain trauma, allergies, diabetes, arthritis, and skin burns. The department provides X-ray, radiology, mammography, cardiovascular care and magnetic resonance imaging services to patients. It provides nutrition counseling, and immunizations and vaccinations for children, and offers special consultation and referral services for women suffering from various health problems. The additional services offered by the department include pain and weight management; safety and injury prevention; health screening and education; individual and family counseling; and home nursing.
