What a blessing to have you, The Villa community! They say best kept secret, you certainly are to this city How do you do it so well. The Doctor is not only good looking but is kind and compassionate , the administrator can't be any sweeter, there is no doubt she loves her residents and staff. The director of nursing always on top of care and what's best for the residents, the care staff exactly do what they are best at, caring for all, even for the families thank you for that, dietary staff , I haven't had a bad meal yet how difficult it can be to please all different types of tastes. The Villa PC rocks at Christmas the sound system was the icing on the sweet cake you served. What a warm welcome. Thank you for caring for my loved one and all her friends. JayMarie

Even though she has recently past, The Villa family from Admin , DON, Care Staff, to the awesome kitchen staff and the housekeeper you have made this very sad time a comforting one. Our father was a resident of the Villa and we can only say great things about it. The administrative and all the staff were wonderful and they all care about their residents. Our father since pasted away and the staff did everything to make him comfortable his final day...letting him pass with dignaty.

How can anyone say anything bad about The Villa???????? It is a wonderful, loving, caring, and compassionate place. I visit many facilities in my line of work and The Villa is a one of a kind, top notch home! If I had to guess the negative reviews came from other jealous facilities and to them i say " Copy the Villa if you can, they are doing it the right way!"

I have a mother in the Villa, myself & family are very pleased with the care & kindness she is given day in and day out. God has led us to the right place when the Villa opened its doors.I can go home and sleep at night thanks to the kind and loving staff, of doctors, adminstrator, nurses, aids, kitchen, entertaining coordinator and cleaning staff.Thank you Villa from the bottom of my heart. i have had the wonderful experience of the administrator and the staff. very caring and thoughtful of the residents and residents' families. maybe the below called the villa and just wanted pricing and not interested in all the facility offers. prices were not given to me at first because the cost is individualized to each resident and they didnt want to give me an inaccurate price. very happy and pleased with the care and i really get the feeling of being included in the family atmosphere that is presented with everyone who walks through the door. it's unlike any other personal care home i've ever been to or heard about. when you hear the words: we care, we are compassionate, they are just words, but not at the villa. they actually mean what they say. they certainly have something special

No way! my mother has been with the administrator and staff for awhile. The staff is a mimic of the administrator kind loving compassionate. We and many others have found the best kept secret of Johnstown. They don't advertise, the care speaks for them, full and my friend:s mom still on a waiting list. Are you sure you spoke to some one at the Villa, Anyone that knows the Administrator and the staff,would not agree with you. the residents that live there would not agree with you. To those looking for a personal care home go to the villa your self and feel the comfort, it welcomes you right at the front door. Maybe the above is just a jealous of the villa and misusing reviews so sad, there is just no way you were treated poorly. Anyone looking go to the Villa, go and visit you will feel the love and family that is there, also the best food in town.! Very sorry for the negative comments left for review ...Joanie

I don't understand the two bad reviews about the Villa. I have been there many times. I understand that there is no advertizement,but yet there is a waiting list. It is all because of word of mouth.The residents are very happy, and say such nice things about their lives there. I know that the families of the residents who live there are very happy that they made this choice.The residents and staff smile allot. Residents and staff are as if they are one big happy family.Residents are very well taken care of. It is very nice and clean, and smells nice too.There are places for residents and family members to sit in privet and also with others if they chose.The rooms are a nice size and do not look like they are rooms of a personal care home. There is a doctors office there so residents don't have to leave the building in bad weather. Any doctor can go to see their pation right there.Everyone has always been very nice to me there. I have nothing bad to say about the Villa.

Okay, my parents are now in the Villa. The administration assisted with every aspect of this difficult transition after being in their own home for 62 years. The entire staff, from the incredibly and easily accessible administration and competent caring nursing staff to the dining hall staff has been remarkable. They are helpful, compassionate, understanding and have expertise with geriatric medical and mental health problems. My familty and I can't say enough good things about the Villa Assisted Living at Napleon Place in Johnstown PA! They are extraordinary and appreciated by the residents and families.

Would avoid this place. Family member tried getting information for their loved one but nobody would answer questions or call him back. After days he reached the director and she was very unprofessional. Since he is from out of town he asked around & found out many people had this type of interaction with the villa staff. He certainly didn't pursue looking there any longer.

Little known on staff, or financials. Not open with cost of rooms and explaining care there. Admistrator not very friendly to question's....Patient right's,,need to be explained and displayed, be very careful and ask the right question's before you let a loved one there..
