Although not large and full and exhibits, this will give you a real sense of what happened when the Johnstown area was devistated by a Flood. There is a great film on the flood that delivers a stunning account for what happened to the town and the people that day. Most of the displayed seem to grab you and make you stare and try to imagine what it must have been like to live that day. This is a great place to visit, the fee to enter was only $7.00 which included The Flood Museum, The Heritage Discovery Center and the Wagner-Ritter House and Garden, all in Johnstown within a mile or less of each other which made it well worth the trip. The Discovery Center was the best with interactive exhibits of the history of Johnstown abd a Childerns floor with lots for the kids to do!
