As our slogan "A Good Mix Since '46" implies, Transit-Mix Concrete Company has served the Tri-Cities, Tennessee area with ready-mixed concrete since 1946. We are engaged in all activities relating to concrete and concrete construction.Our Batch Plants are totally automated and operated by certified personnel. Our Staff is quality driven, all holding certifications from the American Concrete Institute as Concrete Field and Flatwork Finishing Technicians as well as the states of Tennessee and Virginia as Concrete Plant Technicians.Allied to concrete, in 1982 we founded the first concrete pumping company to serve Northeast Tennessee, Concrete Placement, Inc. Our Construction Products Division is authorized distributors of Soff-Cut Concrete Saws, Nudura Insulated Concrete Forms, Form-A-Drain foundation forms and Insul-Deck forming systems. We truly believe "Concrete is the Foundation of America."
