Mt. Zion Elementary School is an educational facility that offers academic classes for students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. It has an annual enrollment of approximately 200 students. The school operates a library media center and computer laboratory. Warrenville Elementary School administers the English as a Second language program and provides guidance counseling services. It is a part of the Charleston County School District, which operates various elementary, middle, high, magnet and charter schools. The Charleston County School District is one of the largest school systems in South Carolina. It serves more than 42,500 students in over 80 schools, as well as is comprised of nearly 5,500 employees.
