My two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels absolutely adore Jacqi, and going to her salon is one of the highlights of their lives. Jacqi and her other groomers are the best I've found in the Charleston area. They are indeed gentle and truly love dogs. I would recommend Gentle Grooming by Jacqi to anyone looking for the best for their pet.

I must say that I have been to many different grooming shops in the last few years and I never found one that I or my dog liked. I found Gentle Grooming online and decided to make an appoinment for my very spoiled little mutt. As soon as I get there I was immediately impressed by the cleanliness and excellent smell of the place. Normally you walk in to a grooming shop and it smells like well a grooming shop but here you wouldn't even know dogs were ever there! Anyways, Jaqci was wonderful upon drop off, very knowledgable and most of all my dog wasn't acting a bit nervous!! Overall Jack was done and it didn't take all day and I loved his haircut!! I was happy, jack was happy and I finally found a place we both agree with:)

When I first walked through the front door I was so impressed! It smelled so nice! It was clean, well decorated and you can see everything that is going on, from dogs being groomed, being bathed and blow dried. Jacqi took the time to get to know me and my dog. My dog has behavioral problems and she assured me it would go ok. To my surprise she didn't even have to muzzle my dog. She said she used massage to gain his trust. My pup left looking great and most of all was happy and not stressed out. After reading a few of the negative reviews I believe they were written by someone who has never even been to that shop and feels threatened by knowledge and experience that Jacqi has. If you want a great groomer that truly loves what she does got to Gentle Grooming! You will not be disappointed!

Great shop! Very clean! Great energy..wonderful women! Favorite part is the all natural shampoos they use! My dogs love going there, never have had a problem with them! Specially like the blue berry facial shampoo. Never had a problem with fleas...if your dog does have fleas they have shampoos (again all natural-love!) that will eliminate the fleas and make your dog(s) smell like citrus.
