Awesome company! We had a great experience using Starcity for our recent move. They are friendly, careful, hard working movers with a great attitude. The owner is super helpful and not only visited the location that we were moving from, but the location that we were moving to, in order to develop an accurate quote. The move ended up being less than the estimate, which was a great surprise. Great deal. We would definitely use them again and recommend to our friends.

A great, uneventful move from NYC to DC! StarCity moved my daughter from a NYC apartment to one in DC. Dealing with Carlos in the office was a delight; very prompt and efficient. Unlike other moving companies, they had no problem with picking up in NYC, stopping at a location in NJ for a drop off and more pick-ups, and arriving in DC later that same day. They lived up to their flat rate quote of $1850, where another company wanted to charge over $5,000 and wouldn't drop our furniture off in DC until the next day. The moving team was efficient, agreeable, smart, and handy with tools. They easily dismantled a wall mounted TV, dismantled and re-assembled beds and other furniture. A They arrived when expected, at all 3 of the locations involved in our move. I don't hesitate to recommend StarCity. I feel like I lucked out, since I found them via a Google search; I couldn't have made a better choice!

I had a very positive experience with Starcity Moving. I moved from Montclair NJ to Washington NJ. Price was very competitive and service was excellent. They showed up on time, load and drove to my new residence within excellent timeframe. My stuff was unloaded in a very efficient manner and I was extremely pleased with the entire experience. They were very professional, both in their mannerism and appearance. I would highly recommend them.

I needed a piano moved and a sleeper sofa. These items are extremely heavy and I was concerned about the cost and would they be able to handle my piano etc. The guys from the owners to the moving crew. Excellent and I would recommend them highly. I had a big move two months prior and it was from Ohio to New Jersey with a National company. Botched up from beginning to end. I wished they would have been able to do my big move but didn't know about them until I arrived in NJ. Fairly priced and very courteous . Impressed enough to write a review!

I took quotes from multiple vendors and chose starcity movers as they were offering fixed rate ... Overall experience was very good and move was smooth. I was concerned with so many information on net about other movers but with starcity , it was simple and straight forward. I will recommend them to friends.

I moved on May 22 and was highly impressed by StarCity Moving. They were on time, efficient, organized and did a fantastic job of moving me from a two bedroom apartment in Jersey City into a condo in Edgewater on the second floor of a complex . Everything arrived intact with no major scratches or dings and nothing was broken. They made the stressful process of moving that much easier. Great NJ Movers.

These guys deliver a great moving experience. Who knew it was possible? They showed up on time, quickly marked the items to be loaded in each room, and offered free wardrobes and plastic bins for any items that might not have found a cardboard home yet. Suddenly, our apartment became an efficient blur of protective blankets and plastic wrap. Frank and another smiling gentlemen loaded and unloaded our stuff very professionally. StarCity Moving is the real deal. You can trust these guys to do the job right for a fair price. Think of all the stress typically associated with moving day. Packing and unpacking boxes is crappy enough, right? Give them a call and set up an appointment. You deserve to leave it to the professionals and arrive at your new home injury free with all your stuff in one piece.

Had a last minute move (two days notice!!) from Brooklyn to Hoboken NJ, and these guys pulled it off in record time. They were not only the most flexible (willing to take a tentative reservation) but also the only company to offer a reasonable flat rate (25% less than flat rate) They arrived a minute early, surveyed the scene, and got to work. They were in an out in under the estimated time, and didn't complain despite sweltering heat. Everything arrived safely and intact. I can't recommend them enough!

Starcity moving is hands the best mover I've used in New Jersey. They moved my girlfriend and I from a condo building in Montclair to a house in Glen Ridge. We went with them partly because of their cool flat rate structure (they charge one rate and stick to it as long as you provide them with correct info) and partly because they were just nice and friendly and took the time to answer all of our questions. The 3 movers that showed up were very efficient, friendly and good communicators. Starcity made this an effortless experience and we'll be using them again for sure.
