- CarpentryI started my career off by going to MATC for carpentry for the purpose of being able to design and build homes. While in MATC one of my accomplishments was that I was awarded a scholarship from NARI based on my hard work and grades. I started working at a real estate and development company where I worked myself through the ranks and ended up as a job Superintendent. In 2008/ 2009 when the industry took a turn I decided to go into business for myself opening up Whipple Contractors LLC. Back to my roots of rough carpentry I started building for many custom home builders. While in that business I built a passion for designing and building homes. After building some custom homes and doing my own general contracting I decided it is what I want to do more of.
