started Bartter & Sons, LLC full time in June 2004. Prior to that I had worked for the City of Ashland Water Department and then a couple excavating companies. Although I enjoyed the work, the hours were long and unpredictable. I spent a lot of time away from my family. In November 2003, I bought a mini-excavator and started doing work part time. By June 2004, I had the knowledge, experience, and equipment necessary to start Bartter & Sons full time. Bartter & Sons allows me to do what I enjoy, while giving me the freedom and flexibility to spend time with my family. Our sons, Blayne and Brayden, are a joy and I love the time I get to spend with them and my wife, Jody. Jody handles the paperwork for the business. I appreciate all the customers who have already placed their trust in me. I have enjoyed serving each of you and appreciate your business.
