Schechter focuses his practice on all phases of litigation, trusts and estates law, elder law, bankruptcy and real estate transactions. He has represented clients in all phases of litigation in all courts of Long Island and New York City. Brian has extensive appellate experience arguing cases and being on brief on various matters before the New York State Court of Appeals (People v. McKiernan, 84 N.Y.2d 915; People v. Letterlough, 86 N.Y.2d 259); Second Circuit Court of Appeals (Howard v. Senkowski, 986 F.2d 24); as well as many matters before the New York State Appellate Division, 2nd Department.

Christine also has experience in preparing estate plans. Furthermore, she is experienced in representing petitioners and respondents in Mental Hygiene Law Article 81 proceedings to appoint a guardian, if appropriate, for persons in need of a guardian or incapacitated people. Additionally, Christine is certified to serve as Guardian ad Litem by the Office of Court Administration, and has served as such by appointment by the Surrogate's Courts of the State of New York.
