Founded in 1952, Jennings American Legion Hospital is a nonprofit 60-plus-bed hospital that provides a range of health care services. Its outpatient and inpatient services include emergency, medical imaging, clinical laboratory, physical, occupational and speech therapies, home health and hospice, chemotherapy and diabetes management. It employs several physicians who specialize in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, gynecology, nephrology, radiology, general and vascular surgeries, orthopedics and urology.
