We had American Arborist come and remove our tree, but they left the stump. We paid in advance to remove the stump and were told they would come back the following week to complete the work. After weeks of calling the company trying to get in touch with somebody, the owner randomly showed up at our doorstep and gave the money to remove the stump back to us stating, "I can't be bothered with a $100 stump!". BTW, the whole job cost close to $1,000. After raising his voice, making a scene in our neighborhood, and storming off, he randomly showed up the next week to apologize and said he would come back to remove the stump and that we would "get a deal". Needless to say, it's been five months later, haven't heard from him, and our stump is still here. I suggest using a company that will finish the job - no matter how big or small the job is - and is willing to be "bothered" by a paying customer!

Joe and his employees did an excellent job pruning 2 very large oaks, and cutting down and removing 3 other trees. My yard looks great! All of his guys were very professional.

Joe and his crew were absolutely wonderful. I had a huge diseased tree the back yard of my small row home. I was told by other tree services that the entire tree could not be cut and removed. I had a 70 foot white pine that, unfortunately, needed to be removed. Joe stopped by as scheduled to give me an estimate -- very fair price, and better than what my neighbors paid for other contractors -- Joe and his crew have all of the industrial equipment necessary for tree and stump removal -- they arrived on the planned day, and finished the job in 6 hours -- the job site was in very good condition, and nothing was damaged. I have told all of my friends about American Arborist, and anyone looking for tree pruning, tree / stump removal, etc. should definitely give them a call. This company is a godsend. We really got what we wanted. I witnessed the entire job taking place. At one point I though "oh, I hope he gets to that side of my tree"(which was neglected by the last company I used) And let me tell you . These guys really go the distance.

He remove the tree and stump with no damage to the property. Joe and his crew were very professional.I would highly recommend American Arborist.
