Advantage Industries, founded in 1992, specializes in designing, manufacturing and certifying inspection gauges. It has a computerized numerical control department equipped with CNC machines and a 5-ton overhead crane. It also has computer aided design and capability maturity model departments. The company s product line includes CMM holding fixtures, variable and automated gauges, function and climate test fixtures and automated machines. It manufactures various prototypes, models, casts and templates, performs CAD and CMM inspections and provides engineering services and repairs. Advantage Industries conducts studies to measure the repeatability and reproducibility of gauges and fixtures. It has a more than 20,000-square-foot manufacturing facility and over 35 employees. The company is ISO 9001:2000 and ISO/IEC 17025:1999 certified. It is also an approved tool supplier for Honda, Ford Motor Co., and Chrysler and is based in Jenison, Mich.
