Provided by YP.comI purchased a Platinum Parts + labor 10 year service contract from Service Net for my Rheem heating and Central air. When the central air needed repair, I contacted Service Net and they advised me to contact a dealer, who I used for the repair. When it came the time for reimburse me with the repair expense they denied the claim completely, saying the dealer did not fix the problem for good. I have called several times and tried to escalate to the Supervisor, who has made himself unavailable and has never returned my calls. This was supposed to be worry free protection and it has been nothing but a hassle and frustration.

Provided by YP.comI purchased an HP refurb laptop from PCMall with the extended warranty through Service Net. When attempting to get a bad hinge on the laptop replaced and was told that it was physical damage. Not accepting this statement I googled "HP hinges" and found that other owners had this problem. I requested a supervisor and was connected to a very rude "Darrien" that now claimed the bad hinge is a manufacturers defect and not covered then stated that the conversation was over. I asked for a copy of the warranty.When I finally received the paperwork from ServiceNet, in the fine print, it states that refurbs are not covered by the warranty. In essence the warranty never covered anything and is out right fraud.

Wait time is a short 40 minutes! You know how to sell service contracts but, know nothing about customer service.
