Located in Jefferson, S.C., Jefferson Elementary serves more than 350 students in kindergarten through eighth grade. The school is the recipient of the Comprehensive School Reform Demonstration Grant by the Department of Education and offers the Success for All program for students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It has a library and media center that offers more than 8,000 books and an accelerated reader program. Jefferson Elementary is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school offers a range of special education programs and services for students with special needs. In addition, Jefferson Elementary provides various athletic and bilingual programs. Its facilities include a cafeteria, library, gymnasium and classrooms.
