Uptown Cafe has superior food. Most of the Waitress's are very pleasant to be around. Our waitress was a female with the name of Megan. She had long beautiful hair and she was very polite. She was full of smiles and treated our children very well. Our kids always want to go eat at uptown so they can see her. She knows what she is doing and she is very speedy. Back to the food, It was amazing, I would consider the food to be just like grandmas home cooked meals. My wife had what they call the Mexican scrambler, she said it was to die for. My daughter Baylee had the cinnamon french toast it was homeade cinnamon bread. Very good. My son had the ham and cheese omlette. He said that was the best omlette he had ever had even better than mine. :( understandable though. I myself had the Hungry Man special. I tell you what, it was so much food. Their portions there are very big for the low price rate. You would not expect the food to be as wonderful as it is for what the cost is. Great job!

If you a looking for a great place to have breakfast in Jefferson, Iowa the Uptown just off the square is it. Huge servings of good food and speedy service. Sorta resembles a "daycare for seniors..." :)~
