SCAR/Jasper Mountain Center was founded in 1982 and offers various services to children. Its residential psychiatric treatment program provides services to young children who struggle with violent behavior and need intensive supervision and intervention. The agency has an electronic monitoring system to supervise children at night. It also provides support, treatment and residential services. The agency offers food, shelter, medicine for child's health and safety. It additionally provides treatment for speech and sleep disorders, failure to grow normally, slow mental and emotional development, depression, and alcohol and drug abuse. The agency s school is certified by the Oregon Department of Education as a private school for regular and special education. It also provides academic and therapeutic services and is located in Jasper, Ore.
