I had a been a customer at Jack's for basic service and parts. The last time I brought a tiller in for a diagnosis but after being told the repair cost would be equal to or more then the cost of a new one I decided not to have the repairs done. When I went to retrieve my tiller I was told there was a $40.00 service charge, which was never explained to me when I dropped the tiller off. They let me get my tiller which was now in multiple pieces thrown in a cardboard box. I didn't make an issue since I thought they were giving me a break on the service charge only to find out later that they had charged the $40.00 on my credit card account. Not the kind of customer service I expect.
The people are very friendly and very helpful.Orders are shipped and received in a very short time. The only company I will do buisness with for all my lawn mower parts and supplies.

I have been a customer of Jacks Small Engines for over 10 years! Not only is their service great with a quick turn around time, but they always have the parts in stock that I need. Have you seen their parts warehouse? Great people to deal with!!

Jacks small engines is the worst company I've ever done e-business with. I ordered a starter for my mower on April 19th, 2010 and it was defective when i received it. I sent it back to them for a refund and still to this day (June 21, 2010) i have yet to hear from them. I have emailed 3 times- no reply, I have called 5 times- cant get through (always busy). The have good prices, but at what cost? Charge a little more and hire some people! Your customer service is TERRIBLE! Check this company out before you buy from them!
