Tom Carlson, owner of Fairview Florist has implemented a unique concept, which is one of its kind nationally. It is a fundraising program whereby people who are sending flowers channel their order through an organization. Local, state, regional and national non-profit organizations, including religious, civic and schools are eligible. There is no financial investment for the participating Partner. There's no requirement to recruit volunteers. The only obligation for the participating organization is to utilize every opportunity to remind their supporters of this unique, one of a kind, fundraising opportunity that goes on, and on, and on every day of the year, year after year. Tom Carlson was born on the property where the store was located before we moved to a new location. Historical records show the location we just moved from as being a greenhouse since prior to 1890 which makes Fairview the oldest floricultural business in this market. Besides flowers and related gifts, Fairview is a major retailer for patio and sunroom casual furniture, spring garden plants and Christmas shop.
