Edison Middle School is affiliated with the School District of Janesville. The school has more than 700 students in grades six through eight. It offers various programs, including English, arts, science, social studies, mathematics and physical education. Edison Middle School also offers music, health and technology education, foreign languages, and computer education. Additionally, the school offers guidance, reading, speech and language, English language learner, and several programs for hearing impaired. It also has a well equipped library media center. Edison Middle School has various clubs and organizations, including the eagle's nest, student council, builders club, and reading Olympics. The school has a parent-teacher association that focuses on increasing awareness and participation in curriculum and policy development, by enhancing communication between home and school. It is located in Janesville, Wis.
