Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a private, nonprofit society that focuses on protecting and promoting the rights of children and families. The agency serves children throughout the state from various office locations with one of its offices in Jamaica Plain, Mass. The center offers a wide range of programs and services, such as act of love adoptions and adoptive families together programs that serve the needs of birth and adoptive parents. Its other programs include family counseling, mental health evaluation and treatment, child psychiatry and medication evaluations.
