I would have liked to give negative stars but since that is not an option I went with one. I had hunted in South Africa in June 2011 and up until the shipping process I would say that my experience was amazing. Since dealing with Northeastern Brokerage Co.. I have lost any interest in any hunting trips that require a broker. It took 34 days for my animals to clear customs, the broker "forgot" to file proper permits, and when I stated my disappointment, he told me that it was record time and I should just be happy that I had my mounts. I heard endless excuses, the only contact when I got was when I repeatedly called them, and even after receiving the money for shipping, their idea of same day shipping is actually 5 days later. I have yet to understand why a shipping agent/broker would want to keep containers taking up warehouse space. There was also time during the 34 days that I was told they weren't sure where or if my container had shipped. I would avoid this company if possible.
