Wellness care includes a comprehensive physical examination, behavioral evaluation, parasite prevention, and vaccination. Our ultimate goal is to do everything that we can to ensure that your pet lives a long, happy, and healthy life!

Illness Treatment

  We recommend an annual heartworm test (small blood sample is needed) and once a month heartworm prevention (oral medication) to prevent heartworm disease.   This harness works well for pets that may be fearful as it has a snug, comforting fit. It features two attachment options: front and/or back. The harness is fleece lined for maximum comfort! It is ideal for pets that have had back injuries. It covers a range of sizes from 15mm-40mm to achieve a great fit for all sizes.

  Used in separately or in conjunction with chiropractic manipulation, Dr. Linda is able to use her skills to treat pain that results from muscle and joint disorders such as arthritis and hip dysplasia as well as some neurological disorders including seizures and paralysis.
• Heart Disease Treatment
  We use gas anesthesia for its safety and precise method of administration. Each surgical patient has an intravenous catheter placed to ensure quick access to veins should emergency medication be necessary. A certified veterinary technician in addition to equipment that measures respiratory rate, blood oxygen level, heart rate and rhythm (ECG) monitor our patients during surgery.

  Your pet's dental health has a direct impact to their overall health, which is why we recommend routine teeth cleaning, both at home and professionally. Our dental services include cleaning, polishing, extractions, and minor oral surgery.

  Surgery services include castration, dehorning, cesarean sections, left displaced abomasum (LDA), abdominal exploratory surgery, and lumpectomies.
• Laser Surgery
  Laser Surgery is a safe, comfortable alternative to traditional surgery. A laser is used instead of a scalpel which reduces both blood loss and pain associated with surgery.
• Spaying and Neutering
  Farm visits for herd processing, providing services such as vaccinations, deworming, implanting, dehorning, and castration for calves and vaccinations, deworming, ear tag application, and pregnancy checks for adult animals.

Lab and X-Rays

  Results of current blood work (complete blood count, blood chemistries, urinalysis and thyroid levels) should have been performed within the last 4 months.

• Microchipping
  Having your pet microchipped is the best way to ensure your pet is returned to you if they are ever lost or stolen. Collar tags, while helpful, can fall off or become illegible. Microchips are a permanent way to identify your pet!
