It provides free lesson plans, teacher s guides and online activities for educators. WJCT also produces and broadcasts local news, public affairs programs and documentaries. The company serves more than 1 million viewers and listeners in northeast Florida and southeast Georgia. It broadcasts county commission meetings, as well as readings of local and national newspapers and books for visually impaired individuals.
