I went to this office for some extractions. The Pros are that the actual procedure went well. Cons are that they make you pay up front and do not take medical insurance even if you have it. Also, I was concerned that I might have had an infection after the procedure due to the amount of pain I was in. After informing them of the amount of pain I was in they told me to come in. There was this kind of passive aggressive attitude from the staff about my condition. The Doctor himself was pretty patient and explained that I was ok and the pain was just a result of an impacted tooth but there was this old woman that I think is his assistant who was literally humming while he was explaining this to me and the whole time she was rude and dismissive very nasty person. I have relatives and friends that need their teeth extracted but I can't recommend this office with a clear conscious. There has to be some other surgeon who does good work with an equal amount of customer service.

I will never recommend this dentist as far as his billing procedures. After receiving a predetermination of benefits from my insurance company (they were to pay half ) I was forced to pay the entire amount for the procedure because the predetermination of benefits came in 5 days after the procedure date. Ok, I went for it because I would be reimbursed the difference after the insurance company paid their portion. When the insurance company sent the check to Dr. Mantegari, his office sent the overpayment of $876.00 that was due me, to my General Dentist. Hello? Why would they do something this stupid? ( I already paid that dentist also) Now they tell me to go to that dentist to get my over payment back. This office is rude and I will never go back!!! Now I am told by the other dentist that it will be 5-6 weeks before they can get my over payment back. I guess keeping patients $$$ helps them keep the doors open. His procedure was adequate. Just my opinion.
