Dr. K.J. Orsborn has been providing excellent orthodontic care to his patients for a decade. After serving patients in South Carolina, Dr. Orsborn returned to Florida, establishing a thriving practice over the past six years here in Jacksonville. Dr. Orsborn specializes in providing Exceptional Orthodontics, Exceptional Service, and an Exceptional Atmosphere for children and adults at Orsborn Orthodontics. Dr. Orsborn earned his bachelor’s degree in Biology from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University prior to attending Howard University, in Washington, D.C., where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Orsborn’s post-doctoral certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics is also from the prestigious Howard University College of Dentistry. At Howard University’s dental school, K.J. Orsborn excelled in the classroom and in student government, serving as president of the Student National Dental Association (SNDA), a student council member, and ambassador for the College of Dentistry. During his clinical training, Orsborn received recognitions for his outstanding proficiency in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. Recognized as a high-achieving student, Orsborn was tapped for induction into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor society. Upon graduating seventh in his dental school class, Dr. Orsborn was presented with the Robert T Freeman Award, acknowledging his superior academic and clinical skills. Dr. Orsborn is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), American Dental Association (ADA), National Dental Association (NDA), Southern Association of Orthodontists (SAO) and Florida Dental Association (FDA). He frequently attends continuing education programs to ensure that he remains on the cutting edge of orthodontic care for his patients. After work and on his days off, Dr. Orsborn enjoys supporting the academic and extracurricular activities of his three children, who are active in cheerleading, softball, baseball, and football. He’s most proud of being named parent-of-the-year by his daughter’s cheer squad, and of coaching his children’s sporting teams. Dr. Orsborn donates countless hours to the local little league and Pop-Warner Association, and can be found supporting many of his patients by attending their extracurricular activities as well. Aside from spending time with his family, Dr. Orsborn’s greatest joy comes from watching each patient grow in confidence as he helps them achieve a beautiful, winning smile that lasts a lifetime.
