General Info
Florida Training and Security Associates (NFTSA) was formed four years ago to provide quality training for private security & law enforcement personnel. NFTSA offers the initial Florida 24-hour Unarmed Security Officer Course, as well as the 16-hour renewal course. NFTSA is also capable of providing licensure training for Unarmed and Armed Officers in Georgia. In addition we offer Florida Armed Security Officer State Licensure training, and concealed weapons license training in revolver and semi-automatic pistol, as well as transition courses to prepare the Security Officer for the change from a .38/357 revolver to a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol. NFTSA also offers custom courses for M-14, M-4, M-16 rifle, shotgun and handgun, to include M-9, M-16, M-4 low light/no light courses of fire, M-9 and M-16 Shoot and Move, police tactical movement, and OC spray and handcuffing courses. NFTSA offers Licensed Red Cross Certified First Aid Certification and CPR/AED training which is fully supported by realistic training aids and the latest techniques. NFTSA offers certified Port Security training covering the International Ship & Port Security Code & the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002. This training provides the Security Officer with specific training in MARSEC threat levels, access and gate control, handling of visitors, emergency personnel and vendors, suspicious items & vehicles & search techniques for personnel, vehicles, and baggage.
