Maria Yssa, M.D. is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Wound Management. At Conviva Care Center Beach Boulevard, she leads a team of health care professionals focused on medical excellence and patient wellbeing. Dr. Yssa completed a residency in family medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at San Antonio in McAllen, Texas, and her research has been published in medical journals. She earned her medical degree from the School of Medicine Juan N. Corpas in Bogota, Colombia. Dr. Yssa is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
