I would highly recommend Lindsays Place. As the other reviewers have mentioned, Butch is an amazingly skilled and honest mechanic! I took my Honda Accord in after being told by a local dealership that I have a leak. Dealership was going to charge me over $100 just to diagnose the leak/issue. Butch checked out my car and diagnosed a minor issue with a seal. He didn't recommend any repairs. Very honest and straightforward. Wish I had known about Lindsays Place when I first moved to Jacksonville. Would have saved me a lot of headaches and hassles.

He has examined one or two cars for me so I could decide whether to purchase, and this week he made several repairs for me on a high-mileage vehicle and charged me a reasonable price. He's not afraid to tell you bad news, but he doesn't search for ways to get more of your money. Lindsay's Place is a small shop, so you might have to call ahead & wait a day or two to take your car in. It's worth it if you can wait. I recommend this shop to you.
