I also found that it is very expensive and i can't commit to a yearly agreement by EFT. My son was on the 5week online special for $59 and i had to purchase the gloves and nun-chucks($74) seperately. I also put him in the spring break camp which was another $150. And I also noticed that young children are sometimes teaching the classes. The owner also teaches as well. But I can say it has changed my son's behavior in school. He loves the atmosphere. So for the price of $283 total, they accomplished what I needed.

So not sign anything with this organization (not just the location but he organization)- once you sign you will pay for 3 years of membership even if your child hates it. The only exclusion is to move where there are no Karate America locations within 25miles or your child be medically declared permanently disabled!! The cost will not stop with the membership fee either you will also have to buy equipment and uniforms too. They are likely to need a new piece of safety equipment every year also. If you think for all this you are getting professional instruction think agian - 14 year olds regualarly teach as do older students (pretty sure they are not background checked). I have five and a half years experience with this organization and would advise any friend to look elsewhere. They want you to be a family and understand when they are short of staff or need volunteers but make no mistake they are a business and will take you for everything they can.
