- PROFESSIONAL PET STYLIST classes for a career as a professional pet stylist or pet grooming business owner. This is an 8 week (320 hour) course.This is a Hands on Training Course. This course is designed to teach you to become a professional Pet Stylist and learn, how to groom dogs with safety in the work place, safety for you and the pets, as well as learn how to be professional with the pet parents. You will learn to work in a pet grooming salon, as well as learn the professional development techniques required to own and operate their own pet grooming business.

- PROGRAM OBJECTIVE To prepare, teach and educate students in the fundamentals of professional pet grooming. Upon successful completionof the program and meeting all course requirements the graduate will become a professional pet groomer. The graduate will be able to work in a salon, in the pet grooming industry or own and operate their own pet grooming business. Upon successful completion of the program and meeting all course requirements and financial obligations the student will be issued a Grooming Diploma.

General Info
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The program is designed to teach the fundamentals of pet grooming, using lectures, and hands-on techniques. Students will learn how to groom dogs and recognize the breed standards of the seven American Kennel Club (AKC) groups. The students will learn to work in a pet grooming salon, as well as learn the professional development techniques required to own and operate their own pet grooming business.
