Atlantic Geotechnical and Environmental Services is a locally owned and operated, full-service engineering and testing firm. It provides geotechnical, environmental, threshold inspection and construction materials-related services, and is headquartered in Jacksonville, Fla. The firm serves homebuilders, developers, civil engineers, architects and general contractors in the eastern United States, as well as other construction and development firms. Established in 1994, Atlantic Geotechnical and Environmental Services is licensed and insured, and it has completed more than 10,000 projects in and around the Southeast. The firm is also approved by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection. Its staff includes more than 25 trained engineers, geologists and technicians. The firm maintains an extensive array of advanced devices and equipment. It owns and operates drill rigs, concrete compression machines and automatic hammers. Atlantic Geotechnical and Environmental Services additionally maintains special in-house laboratories to store and age materials under perfect atmospheric conditions.
