The first initial contact to Dr. Weitzen's office to verify if they were accepting new patients was not a very pleasant one nor were the subsequent calls. The staff that answered the phones were rude and very abrupt. It would not hurt if those answering the phones for Dr. Weitzen would take a customer service class to learn how to treat potential patients. I would not reccommend this Dr. Office because those representing the front office actually represents the doctor and the staff has done a very poor job in being courteous and kind.

My son and I went for our appointment with Dr.Weitzen. We were seen right away and everyone was very helpful and courteous. We were fitted for glasses and I was very patiently taught how to use my first pair of contact lenses. Both pair of eye glasses were ready in the time span that we were told to expect them. I highly recommend Dr.Weitzen and her staff.

I went to Dr. Weitzen for my annual exam. My exam was great. I really enjoyed the Dr. and the staff was very pleasant. The wait was short. I purchased my frames elsewhere and took the new frames back to get filled. The wait was 7 - 10 days and I received them within that period - this wait time is standard. I really enjoyed the office. My only feedback is the frames selection could be larger but I'm all about the Dr. Good place, great Dr. and I do recommend.

The first review could have been my own in that I too had to wait a long time for new glasses and was told there was something wrong with them and had to be sent back. You'd think I was the problem. The doctor is fine but the eyeglass concession seems to be the problem. Very pushy.

TAKE YOUR GLASSES ELSEWHERE! I stopped by this office at the end of December to get new lenses put into my frames. I was told that if I dropped them off Jan 4 that it would take 10 days or less and I could pick them up on the 14. I stopped by on the 18th after not hearing from the office and was told that it takes 10 business days and I could come back by around lunch that Thurs. I went by again that following Saturday to find that the office is only open Mon-Thurs and 10 business days aren't true to the typical work week. I stopped by for a 3rd time on the 25th to find that my glasses had come in but failed an inspection in the office so they sent them back out again. The woman in the office blamed it on my insurance and told me that their office sends glasses out as a courtesy to the patient and they don't make any money off of these transactions. She was incredibly apathetic to me and treated me like I was a nuisance. As of the 25th I am still waiting to receive my glasses.
