I was contacted by a young couple who walked ten blocks to get your services only to be turned away. It seems the paper work they had did not meet your criteria. The apartments they live in had put the wrong year, so the lady said it was outdated. The young man had no ID as he does not drive. The lady was very rude to them and sent them back home to get the paperwork. The printer was out at the apartment complex so the lady in the office had to call your services to verify where they lived. They gave them 1 bag of food. This scenario bothers me. People who are down and out will not have all this paperwork, so what do they do? Does God want us to scrutinize all we help? If we do it with a joyful heart this is what God wants from us. If the person getting the help is not in need,then God will deal with them. I am concerned about the attitude of the woman who was in charge.If we are wanting to get young folks to turn to God we need to be better role models.
