We had my two daughters double birthday party and they easily sat our party of 23 with no wait and no issues. Our servers were David and Cheryl, and they were super nice and really outdid themselves... honestly it was the BEST service we've ever gotten, anywhere. The food was delicious, and kept our glasses full, (which we appreciated since it was 104F outside!) The calamari was DEELISH.. my youngest daughter and I felt that the tomato sauce was a little spicy for us, and Cheryl brought us some Alfredo which cut the spice and actually made it tastier. :) I appreciated her doing this little extra for us. :) Even the little kids in our party had a great time. :) Both David and Cheryl were pleasant and funny, and chatted with all of us.. it was a great evening, and I cannot recommend Carrabas enough for any time you want a nice place for a family dinner party. We had this on a Sunday evening, so it was not too busy. :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks Carrabas!!
Its carrabbas. I think it is odd if you order a custom dish like the chicken polo Rosa Maria cooked Bryan style with no mushrooms, very good by the way, it tastes exactly the same at every carrabbas you go too. But any way, the service at this one is great when you dine in. The speed of the curbside carryout leaves plenty to be desired so I just park, walk up and knock on the door. Either way you go it is good.
When ever I am in the Jacksonville, FL area, this is one of 3 restaurants that I must go to. Most of the time, the restaurant is packed but the food is worth the wait. This is the very first Carrabbas restaurant I've gone to; therefore, I must attribute my addiction to the food to the service that I've received and atmosphere it has. Orange park is a little congested, so it may be a headache waiting on the traffic light depending on the time of day you are trying to get to the restaurant. Regardless, the food is good. This is the best place to experience calamari.
