I have just moved to the area and earlier this week found myself with a hefty load of laundry that I needed done for the weekend, as I was getting on a cruise ship for a formal event on Saturday. I stopped in to talk to the owner who assured me he could have it done Friday night. Of course Friday night rolls around, and at 6:30pm I find my self sitting in traffic, staring at an accident on Blanding at 295! I called him and told him about the situation, and he offered to stick around a little bit after closing (7pm) so that I could pick up my items. Thankfully I managed it right on time. I had turned in over a dozen garments to him and they were clean and pressed as promised. One of the dresses for my girl friend was very long, and I'm very short, and he offered to take it out to the car for me, too! The price was about what I would expect for such a load so nothing really to say there.

Andrews Dry Cleaners 1 Merchant Ratings Never Again!!!! I had recently taken my wedding dress to have cleaned and boxed at Andrew's Dry Cleaners. Before taking the dress in, I visited the location and spoke to the owner as to whether this was a service they usually provided, to which he stated yes. I took the dress in and explained to him that it was a very expensive dress and was obviously of great sentimental value to me, so if for any reason they would have difficulty cleaning it, to please just leave it. After many weeks the dress was ready. It was boxed when I went to pick it up, I decided to open the box to take a peek and to my horror my beautiful white silk dress was destroyed. To make a long story short, the owners complete lack of responsibility, professionalism and refusal to compensate for the damages was appalling. I was told that accidents happen, to which my reply was and still is: I understand accidents happen, but as a business owner should you not be accountable for the workmanship of the service you provide?????

Good location, nice owners. They give 25% dry cleaning discount on for dropping off on Tuesday & Saturday. They can do alterations (no discount provided) however the items are sent out to their seamstress at their alternate location & returned back usually in 4 days. Great hours too! Mon - Fri 0730-1900, Sat. 0730-1730 & Sun. 0900-1400.
